The children of Luz Y Vida need your help!

This year marks the 31st anniversary of Hogares Luz Y Vida - The Home of Light and Life - in caring for the orphaned, abandoned, impoverished, and disabled children of Bogota, Colombia. Sister Valeriana, and the 252 children and their caregivers need your support now more than ever. In addition to the increased medical attention imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Home has experienced an influx of additional residents who were relocated to Luz y Vida from programs which collapsed under the financial weight of economic distress and overburdened medical demands. The Light and Life Foundation’s 2023 Giving Campaign fundraising goal is over 95,000.00. As we maintain our financial support for the day to day medical, educational, nutrition and programmatic needs in caring for our children, we are also part of a team of agencies and foundations who have joined together to construct, equip and staff the VALLE ROSITA CHRONIC CARE MEDICAL CLINIC.
